Highlight of the 2019 Quarterly Kaizen at DEN

DEN Peak Performance Team hosted a Colorado Lean Network Kaizen event on May 15 with seventy participants from the State of Colorado, Denver Human Services, Denver Water Board, Centura Health, Comcast, NREL and other organizations.

The event focus was on the journey organizations go through from individual innovation to improving your Value Streams.

This event was a learning and networking opportunity for Continuous Improvement professionals and was a great success for DEN.

Peak Team members Amy Kuchno, Oxana Trotsenko, Vanessa Fakhreddin and Sue Holt led the participants through the presentations and facilitation of an interactive exercise identifying primary Value Streams for the participants customers.

The event included a continuous improvement marketplace with presenters from the Maintenance Control Center, Fleet, Facilities, Parking & Transportation and Operations.

Senior Vice Presidents Andrea Albo, Greg Hegarty, Jeff Booton along with Manager Rene Franks addressed the attendees representing DEN’s journey and how far we’ve come to develop our skills and capabilities.

The feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive and the Peak Performance team appreciated the opportunity to host the event.
