Denver Health Earns the 2016 Peak Award

Conference: RMPEx Quest for Excellence XV, April 14

Denver Health recently received the 2016 Peak Award granted by Rocky Mountain Performance Excellence (RMPEx). The Peak Award is the regional equivalent of the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, which recognizes organizations that achieve and sustain the highest levels of overall performance excellence. Denver Health received this award based on many strengths identified in its Peak application, such as leadership, strategic planning, efforts to improve the patient experience, emphasis on workforce engagement, and the widespread utilization of Lean tools and a Lean Management System in numerous ways to design and improve work processes and enhance the quality of health care services.

We have been on a learning journey since 2005, and the most recent feedback from Peak will help us to continue to deploy and improve our key systems and performance.”
